Baltimore celebrated the 200th anniversary of the end of the War of 1812 – and the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner – with the Star-Spangled Spectacular on September 10th-16th. During this festive week, the Ravens also topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-6 at home and the Orioles welcomed in the Yankees, as well as the second place Toronto Blue Jays, and won six of seven games in that stretch, ultimately leading to their first American League East title since 1997.
