HomeSlyce reopened at its new location at 2 East Wells in South Baltimore in April and, now, its former building at 1741 Light St. in South Baltimore/Riverside is being offered in a A.J. Billig & Co. Auctioneers auction. Bidding for the online auction begins Monday, August 15th at 12am and an on-site auction will take place Wednesday, April 17th at 11am.

The property includes 7,338 sq. ft. of gross building area. There is a tavern area on the first floor with approximately 2,400 sq. ft. of gross area and a 1,450 sq. ft basement. There is an approximately 1,900 sq. ft. apartment on the second floor that is leased until May 2023, as well as a 2,500 sq. ft. warehouse in the rear of the property with a roll-up door.

The sale includes a LBD-7 seven-day beer, wine, and liquor license, as well as some fixtures, furniture, and equipment left in the former HomeSlyce space.

The opening bid is $600,000. A $50,000 deposit is required for the purchase at the time and place of sale.

HomeSlyce was open at 1741 Light St. for almost 10 years and the bar space was the longtime home to Bill’s Lighthouse Inn until it closed in 2010.
